Sales Manager

Our Client in the Chemical manufacturing industry is looking to hire a dynamic Sales Manager with proven track record in the sector in driving and achieving sales targets through successful implementation of sales strategies, generate leads and build relationships with existing and potential customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in products and services categories.
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current customer needs, pitching relevant products or services, and following a defined selling process with potential buyers.
- Ensuring that customers have a positive experience from start to finish.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential customers.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, working with Quality team in developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Proactivity. Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company.
- Identify new business and generate sales opportunities to achieve sales targets including identifying opportunities for new product innovation.
- Plan, organize and manage customer sampling and promotional activations to support Sales and Consumer engagement.
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Facilitate relevant discussions with outlet owners/managers in relation to the performance of the product lines and what initiatives could/should be actioned to drive growth.
**Minimum Requirements**
- ** Minimum **5 years experience Sales Management experience within FMCG environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related qualification.
- Must have a proven track record of success in sales in a start-up environment as well as strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in retail, manufacturing, FMCG, or brand industry.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to jump into any tasks to help the company succeed.
- Excellent selling, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management and planning skills.
- Must have own car.
