This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in B2B sales, key account management, and business development within the food manufacturing sector. Minimum Requirements: National Diploma in Sales & Marketing, BSc Food Science, or BTech in Food Technology/Biotechnology preferred. 5 years of experience in sales management within the food production or food ingredients sector. Proven ability to develop sales strategies, drive revenue growth, and manage national key accounts. Experience in leading high-performing sales teams and working within a target-driven environment. Strong knowledge of CRM systems and sales analytics tools. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to travel nationally as required. Valid drivers license Duties and Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Business Development Develop and implement a national sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the food production industry. Conduct market research to track industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in food production companies. Key Account Management Manage and expand relationships with major food production clients. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms to drive profitability. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction. Sales Team Leadership & Development Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Set and monitor performance targets & KPIs for sales staff. Conduct regular coaching sessions, sales meetings, and performance reviews. Operational & Financial Management Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management. Oversee the national sales budget, including forecasting and expense control. Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and production teams to optimize operations.
