We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic **Service Admin** to join our team. The department is a part of the Global Customer Support (GCS) division. Kongsberg Maritime GCS delivers customer support activities to vessel owners based and/or operating worldwide. The discrete product areas, which we support, are Dynamic Positioning, Navigation, Integrated Control, Thruster Control, Automation and Energy solutions.
**Location**: Cape Town, South Africa
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Customer Support invoicing, cost control, arrange delivery. Maintaining overview, follow up of outstanding and collections.
- Maintain the Service, Spares requests and tools as: CRM mailbox forwarding/processing enquiries as necessary, maintain collaborative relationship within GCS operation, Aftermarket sales and other key stakeholders within the company.
- Processing of Customer Support Engineer Expenses (TEV’s, Zalaris)
- Preparation, issuing and expediting of Purchase Orders
- Be a part of the support operation and ensure that all communication and customer requests are given the right attention/priority and response.
- Proactively follow up on all inquiries to ensure continuous progress and proper action towards customers.
- Assist and Collaborate with KM network in technical and operational issues.
- Collaboration with technical advisors & engineers, service coordinators, products responsible, and supply chain to meet customer needs across locations or regions in KM network.
- Participate in improving GCS operation, as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Technical or Financial background from college or similar.
- Systematic and structured.
- Commercial awareness and proactive mindset.
- Strong customer and team focus.
- Fluency in English verbally and in writing.
General product knowledge / Technical knowledge on KM systems, or operational equipment within the maritime business is considered as an advantage.
