Execute activities related to the allocation of banks and journal postings allocation of funds, as well as credit vetting in accordance with credit policy and FICA requirements.

**R**EQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING**
- Grade 12

**REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE**
- 2 years accounts receivable and credit vetting experience
- Bank and Cashbook allocation experience is essential
- SAP experience will be advantageous.

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of debtors' accounts
- Ensure accurate and timeous allocation and clearing of debtor payments/accounts on a daily basis
- Report system errors to IT and inform the credit control manager of errors
- Prepare monthly reporting on allocations and reconciliation of unidentified receipts (UFO) on bank GL
- Liaise with the bank reconciliations team regarding allocations and submit the monthly bank reconciliation report
- Process COD accounts, and clear payments, journals, and credits
- Build and maintain good customer relationships, attend to and resolve customer queries related to the allocation of payments and provide feedback to customer
- Maintain files for safe record keeping and store/save documentation and posting on the electronic share drive
- Assist/guide customers on the use of the eAccounts system

**TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES**
- Knowledge of FICA
- Knowledge of credit and accounting principles
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Intermediate Excel competency level 7/10 or higher
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
