1.Facilitate review and implementation of Knowledge Management (KM) Strategy

a) Facilitate the review of the current KM strategy

b) Develop knowledge management audit plan for internal use within the department.

a) Collate information and incorporate inputs received from staff and feedback in revised draft strategy for recommendation and approval.

b) Solicit inputs for enhancement of Knowledge harvesting tools templates, exit interviews (knowledge retention and transfer), case study documentation, after action reviews and blogging through scenarios for recommendation & approval.

c) Facilitate development of knowledge information architecture (IA) for development Knowledge Portal

d) Develop a directory of expertise locator with regard to knowledge sharing / utilisation within the department

e) Conducting of the KM Maturity Assessment using appropriate prescribed DPSA tool

2.Facilitate engagement and maintenance of Knowledge Management Structures.

a) Facilitate and conduct training of KM Champions and liaising with relevant stakeholders on KM related activities.

b) Facilitate appointment and any changes with regard to KM Champions

c) Provide support to the designated KM champions in administering the KM tools

d) Conducting training of the Programmes on the Alfresco Share drive in collaboration with Information Technology (IT) unit.

3.Facilitate and Conduct knowledge Management Advocacy programmes & culture in the department.

4.Develop procedure regarding the KM and monitor the implementation

a)Draft statutory and administrative reports as required

b)Provide functional advice and technical guidance to the unit and management

**REQUIREMENTS**:
1.Minimum 2 years’ experience within Knowledge Management.

2.A relevant Degree or Diploma

**Salary**: From R17,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gauteng, Gauteng: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelors (preferred)

**Experience**:

- TOGAF (preferred)
