**Job Opportunity: Time Clerk**

**Job Purpose**:
Are you meticulous, detail-oriented, and passionate about precise timekeeping? We are seeking a dedicated Time Clerk to join our team and play a vital role in managing timekeeping processes, ensuring accurate records, and facilitating seamless payroll procedures. As a Time Clerk, you will contribute to the success of projects by effectively managing time-related data and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
**Time Keeping**:

- Manage timekeeping duties, including timesheet management, biometrics system oversight, and accurate recording of hours and overtime using Excel sheets.
- Perform 3-way checks between timesheets, organograms, and POE files to ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure timely submission of digital timesheets for weekly reporting and bi-weekly payroll, meeting all deadlines.
- Setup and maintain biometric systems for site establishment, troubleshooting errors, and conducting technical callouts when necessary.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager on site activities and assist in populating the organogram.
- Provide daily feedback to the Project Manager and Site Agent on staff attendance.
- Monitor and enforce clocking procedures to ensure adherence to regulations, reporting any non-compliance to the Project Manager.
- Identify and address issues related to timekeeping, discrepancies, or late submissions.
- Report discrepancies and concerns to the Project Manager for timely resolution.
- Proactively engage in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in timekeeping procedures.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to streamline timekeeping processes and minimize errors.

**Requirements**:
Grade 12.

Administration qualification or relevant certification (Advantageous).

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3+ years proven experience in timekeeping.
- Demonstrated track record of managing timekeeping and timesheet submissions for site-based teams with over 50 members.

**Knowledge**:

- Proficiency in timekeeping and timesheet management.
- Familiarity with clocking systems, particularly mobile biometrics systems and Uniclox software (Advantageous).
- Understanding of BCEA (Basic Conditions of Employment Act) and LRA (Labour Relations Act).

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in the MS Office suite, especially Excel.
- Strong computer literacy.

- Strong communication skills.

**Additional Requirements**:
**Own reliable transportation for traveling to and from sites across South Africa.
