**Job Context**:
**SERVEST SECURITY, A BUSINESS UNIT OF SERVEST HAS A VACANCY FOR A GENERAL MANAGER REPORTING TO THE MANAGING DIRECTOR. MUST BE PSIRA GRADE A REGISTERED WITH A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A CONTROL ROOM ENVIRONMENT.**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric.
- PSIRA Grade A registration & accreditation.
- Driver’s license and own reliable transport.
- 5 Years minimum experience in a control room environment.
- Control room management experience 2 - 3 years.
- 3 years of customer service experience.
- Knowledge of CCTV, guarding & armed response control centres.
- Must have a good understanding of dispatching.
- Knowledge of radios and repeaters.
- Vehicle tracking experience.
- Ability to create and maintain detailed excel spreadsheets.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate well with regional operational team members.
- Analytical and data-driven.
- Organisational skills.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Manage the delivery of the control room service and ensure delivery of operational KPI’s.
- Develop a common framework of understanding and threat identification within the control room.
- Ensure operating systems are functioning correctly and are fit for purpose, troubleshooting, and organizing for corrective action while at the same time mitigating against any risk to the client base.
- Communicate effectively with the control room team and liaising effectively with the operational management teams of the different clients.
- Developing the control room operations manual that supports each specific clients’ operations, updating when required and formulating and implementing security policy and procedures.
- Ensuring that the shift is adequately covered and maintaining the duty roster.
- Ensuring all systems at the control room are operational.
- Reporting and following up on all serious related incidents. Providing feedback to Senior Management.
- Ensure all patrols devices and communication devices are operational at all times.
- Ensure the daily site checks are completed by the control room operators.
- Ongoing training for all controllers on all systems at the control room.
- Ensure team produces daily, weekly and reports for senior management and clients.
- Directing NCC colleagues to attend to incidents and assist to coordinate emergency situations.
- Conduct compliance audits to ensure Servest Security operations support to the client is performed in accordance with all contractual requirements and initiate corrective action in a timely manner where necessary. Corrective action to be taken.
- Carry-out risk-based analysis of access data to identify potential risks to clients, management of risk processes and compliance on client sites.
- Work with CRM/technology providers to design, implement and support CRM systems/technology.
- Full project management responsibility for the implementation of CRM systems/technology.
- Developing, implementing, and managing CRM/technology manuals (processes, procedures, SOPs, policies etc.) that supports all security operations, updating when required and formulating and implementing security policy and procedures.
- Software License Management.
- Work with colleagues in the business unit to devise new workflows for the efficient, timely set up and implementation of CRM systems/technology.
- Develop analysis and reporting capabilities of CRM systems/technology, co-ordinating any new processes as required.
- System integration.
- Build workflows to streamline processes using technology.
- Data collection & intelligence analysis.
