The incumbent will be responsible for conducting various sales activities which includes directly selling metering products to new and existing target markets, identifying and engaging new clients and implementing targeted sales strategies.

Responsible for maintaining customer relationships and tracking sales data.

**Role**:
**Sales Management**
- Develop and manage the sales pipeline.
- Manage the sales process of each deal until its concluded.
- Direct sales forecasting activities.
- Cooperate with research analyst in order to identify markets from which opportunities can arise.
- Close new business deals through developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Promote designated products and services set across all sales channels.
- Review and analyze sales performance.

**Leads Generation & Management**
- Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry.
- Prepare and present proposals to qualified leads to generate new business.
- Cold call leads in order to convert them into prospects.
- Stay abreast of progress and direction in the metering sector to ensure Lesira capitalizes and leads on development.
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions, conferences and industry related events.
- Attend tender briefings for tender information collection and give adequate feedback to procurement personnel.
- Ensure tender documents are completed accurate and correctly with supporting documents.

**Team player**
- Contribute valuable ideas to other team members within the department.
- Support team members in activities related to closing a sale.
- Be able to learn from other team members.

**Customer Retention**
- Maintain a good rapport with customers after the sale to ensure long-term business.
- Ensure you provide on-going and timeous support to clients and ensure that optimal service levels are maintained.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of Diploma in Sales/marketing/business management or any business-related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ sales experience in selling.
- Driver’s license is a bonus.
- Fluent in speaking and writing English.
- Own vehicle will be a bonus.
- Computer literate.
- Self-motivated.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
