**ABOUT THE JOB**

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timeous processing of the organisations Accounts receivable, Accounts Payable and Cashflow activities.

**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE**
- Accurate recording, tracking, and processing of staff expense claims
- Accurate recording, tracking, and processing of payments to suppliers
- Accurate and timeous management of Bank account reconciliations
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment batches (local and international), ensuring company cash books are always up to date
- Provide collection support to ensure funds are received timeously from local and international donors, with daily age analysis, reports being generated to track outstanding payments
- Processing of Funder invoices
- Assist with annual BEE verification
- Provide essential financial support to Reach Digital Health teams
- Assist the Financial Manager and Head of Finance with annual audit requirements

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION**
- A tertiary qualification in accounting or finance

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Min 3-5 years experience of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills essential (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables etc.)
- Experience on systems such as XERO
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with financial statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
