**Import Customer Service Agent**

- Provide high quality customer service support, delivering service in line with performance standards and operating procedures.**Areas of responsibility**
- **Import Documentation**

Execute Import customer service documentation activities. These include the preparation of Import cargo manifest / distribution of Arrival Notifications / processing Transhipment Orders, etc, in accordance with procedures, quality standards and timelines.
- **Customer Service Communication**

Effectively communicate with the respective internal / external business interfaces, such as the Line Management / System Developers /Global Offices and Customers, to ensure that all import processes are working efficiently. This includes the distribution of customer sailing schedules and providing import quotations.
- **Compilation of Import Statistics**

Monitor and record import volumes, transhipment movements and vessel port calls.
- **Vendor Account Reconciliation**

Verification and reconciliation of Vendor billing (Port Operational Accounts), creating vessel expense summaries per port call, conducting checks and approval of invoices for the services rendered.

**QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE**

**Education**
**Level**
- Matric with mathematics or equivalent.***

**Experiences**
- 1-3 years professional working experience in the shipping industry, ideally with Pure Car & Truck Carrier exposure (PCTC).**Computer Skills**
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook).***

**Other Skills**
- Excellent English language and communication skills - both written & verbal.Analytical, Problem-Solving Skills, Ability to work under pressure.
