**ADVERT FOR QUALITY CONTROLLER**

**JOB DESCRIPTION: -**
- Lead the quality team, set the strategy, implement, and execute a plan.
- Oversee the quality inspection function.
- Driving the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Quality Management

System to ensure that the company achieves its goals as set out in the quality policy and objectives.
- Lead Quality Assurance continuous improvement efforts in production and maintenance.
- Establish and implement a process to determine root causes and corrective action for quality system failures, including non-conformities.
- Ensure effective monitoring processes are defined and implemented.
- Ensuring and checking that work activities and standards (including discipline such as occupational safety) within the Quality Department are adequately described and recorded, communicated and available in the form of specifications, work instructions and records for staff to perform their duties effectively.
- Attending to document-controlled administration of approved system policies, procedures, work instructions, specifications, and records.
- The investigation of non-conformities (including customer complaints), identifying root causes and implement counter measures in consultation of the production team.
- Training of Quality staff to allow better understanding and execution of their duties.

**REQUIREMENTS: -**
- A relevant qualification and experience in quality processes / quality control role within a manufacturing industry
- ISO 9001 process & documentation methodology
- Preferably Bilingual - English and Afrikaans
- Strong, assertive character
- Team player.
