Workshop Manager

Ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations, including but not limited to OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of product & service quality.
- Monitoring and controlling inventory levels, including ordering raw materials and supplies as necessary, and ensuring the efficient use of resources.
- Developing and maintain a stock, tool and inventory system and the accurate control of it.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of products and services.
- Developing and implementing training programs to ensure that all employees are properly trained on all equipment as well as safety protocols.
- Developing and implementing a maintenance program to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order and that proper housekeeping is done.
- Analyzing production and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure proper time keeping is enforced and to monitor and document employees’ work performance and that their performance is aligned with the allocated repair times.
- Ensure all subordinates comply with the Company’s code of conduct and that day to day tasks are being done to satisfactory level. Reprimanding of employees should be in line with BCEA and Motor industry standards.
- Recruitment of employees
- Hold a minimum of one weekly meeting with all subordinates to ensure alignment and brief your line manager of these meetings as well as labour recovery for the week.

**Salary**: R18,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blackheath, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Workshop manager: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Drivers license (preferred)
