**Key purpose of the role**:
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this full circle sales role serves as the key link between our client and its existing and prospective clients. The incumbent is responsible for reaching monthly sales targets, generating new sales, increased visibility and awareness of the company’s products and maintaining relationships with existing clients.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Client Service including regular client visits and ensuring awareness around new products and specials. Following up on client queries, problems and complaints and the like.
- Identify potential clients and needs analysis in order to maximise sales growht.
- Ensure retention of existing clients
- Develop sales pitch for prospective clients and provide client with relevant marketing material
- Establishing merchandise needs for marketing purposes including setting up in store promotions and attending client open days to ensure brand visibility. which clients are to be given marketing merchandise
- Self-Training and Development relating to research and education on the skills and knowledge required to ensure success in the industry. This will include attending professional and industry related events and training programs.

**Key requirements**:

- Matric with 3 - 5 Years proven experience selling to Retail/ Wholesale/ Electrical Wholesalers
- Valid unendorsed drivers licence and own reliable transport
- A proven record of success in Retail and Wholesale sales channels with contactable referencces
- Knowledge of the prepaid electricity industry an advantage
- Able to work on MS Office, Repwise, Order Dynamics systems
- High level negotiation and organisational skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to recognise opportunities and risks and act upon them
- Ability to analyse, develop and implement sale strategies
- High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- Business acumen and entrepreneurial aptitude
- Excellent problem-solving, presentation and project planning
- Strong organisational and time management skills

We offer a market related salary with medical aid and pension, a petrol card and lucrative bonus and incentives.

AIMS has been retained to handle response to this position.

**Salary**: R35,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 3 years (preferred)
- Retail/ Wholesale/ Electrical Wholesalers: 3 years (preferred)
- prepaid electricity industry: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Code 08 Driver's license (preferred)
