The purpose of the Case Management Specialist role is to assist complainants of sexual harassment, gender-based violence and BHV with the necessary information, advice and assistance, process guidance and support. To coordinate the management of such complaints as well as the investigation and adjudication of such cases across the South African businesses and to assist with training, evaluation and monitoring in relation to such sexual harassment, gender-based violence and BHV.

**Job Description**:

- Key tasks:
Safety, Health & Environment
- Display behavior in line with health, safety and environmental standards and with the Group’s values
- Comply with the health, safety and environmental expectations for the Living with Dignity Hub
- Support relevant safety audits, inspections and observations

Performance & Delivery
- Management of complaints received by the Living with Dignity Hub relating to SHGBV and BHV
- Work with, among others, Business Units and Functional HR teams as well as (Anglo Business Assurance Services) ABAS, to coordinate and monitor investigations relating to allegations of bullying, harassment (including sexual harassment and gender-based violence) and victimization.
- Facilitate access to psycho-social support for complainants through existing internal and external services.
- Maintain detailed, holistic case files
- Provide guidance relating to the complaints and investigations process
- Maintain close communication with and provide feedback to complainants, inter alia to determine any immediate need for special protection or referral to specialized support services and initiate adequate response
- Support monitoring and evaluation data regarding progress towards the elimination of BHV in the working environments of all Anglo American’s South African businesses

Sustainability & Social
- Participate in operational reviews and planning in relation to the Anti Harassment Hub Office and its programmes
- Participate in process review pertaining to investigations and adjudication of bullying, harassment and victimization cases (including sexual harassment and gender based violence)
- Participate in strategic reviews and planning in relation to Anglo American’s efforts in advancing the Group’s South African social and sustainability objectives

People & Teams
- Foster a productive and collaborative working environment with staff from other Group businesses and external partners in line with the Group’s values
- Demonstrate behaviour in line with the Group’s values and standards
- Identify opportunities for improved cost management and make related proposals

Compliance
- Participate in the promotion and advancement of compliance with the Group BHV and related policies across all of Anglo American’s South African businesses
- Display behavior in line with health, safety and environmental standards and with the Group’s values
- Qualifications
- Graduate degree in law, psychology, social work, or related field

Technical Knowledge:
Operations:

- Evidence-based knowledge of workplace investigations and/or case management and/or survivor-centered support services

Management:

- Understanding of case management principles and practices
- Understanding of risks associated with workplace investigations

Compliance:

- Knowledge of workplace and/or criminal justice system legislation and principles as they relate to sexual harassment and/or bullying
