**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team as a Payroll & Systems Administrator. The primary focus of this role is to ensure accurate and timely payment of remuneration while effectively managing personnel-related tasks, utilising the SAGE 300 People system, as well as maintaining the SAGE 300 payroll system.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Process monthly and weekly salaries exclusively on SAGE 300 People
- Reconcile input data with schedules to maintain data accuracy
- Open and manage new personnel files, ensuring completeness and compliance
- Maintain precise and up-to-date personnel records
- File and organise all relevant personnel documents systematically
- Collaborate with the HR team to address personnel-related matters
- Perform general administration duties efficiently
- Maintain SAGE 300 People system ie system updates, position management and data integrity.

**JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric qualification (with emphasis on accounting and/or maths) (required)
- A relevant tertiary qualification (at least a Diploma level is required)
- Knowledge and Skills: Technical, specialist or analytical skills acquired through tertiary education or the equivalent experience.
- Sage300 certification or a minimum of 5 years working on SAGE 300 People (required)
- Minimum 5 Years working experience in payroll (required)
- Strong knowledge of BCEA and Labour Legislation
- Experience using SAP or an equivalent accounting system (advantageous)
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Google Sheets and Google Workspace
- Competencies: Strong aptitude for working with figures and reconciling data, meticulous attention to detail, effective planning, organising and control abilities, excellent problem solving and communication skills.
