The Life and Investments Face to Face Business within OUTsurance Life (Pty) Ltd requires the services of a passionate individual to work in our Technical Advice Support (TAS) Department as a technical advice specialist.

**Job Description**:
The TAS department is primary responsible for providing technical and advice support to the OUTsurance Financial Advisors (OFA’s) working in the face to face space of the business. The TAS department has the following four strategic objectives:

- 1. _Technical Advice Support_
- 2. _Supervision Activities_
- 3. _Training and Development_

4. _Content Generation_

This role is suitable for someone who has a passion to help improve and revolutionize the manner in which financial advice (both life and Investments) is dispensed and monitored. The role offers an opportunity to practice and enhance your current financial advisory skills and knowledge.

**Duties**
- You will assist the TAS Department in achieving its four overarching strategic objectives and any additional objectives identified in time, as the Life and Investments Face to Face business evolves and matures
- You will be required to assist and drive numerous supervision activities and will be responsible for completion of various supervision actions and functions. You will also fulfil the role of a supervisor as defined and set out in the FAIS Act
- You will be required to research and stay up to date with the latest regulatory reforms and changes and assist in ensuring that the face to face advice force remains up to speed with any changes and developments identified
- You will be required to assist in drafting relevant educational, professional and general content as identified and directed by the head of the TAS Department
- You will be required to assist with training and development of the face to face sales force as and when required
- You will assist and support other departments within the OUTvest and OUTlife businesses with regards to technical advice related matters and queries
- You will assist with the various quality assurance functions of the TAS Department
- You will assist with the identification, development and sourcing of advice related tools and calculators, these include but are not limited to advice templates, financial calculators and estate planning tools
- You will assist the TAS Department with the drafting and reviewing of all Life and Investments Product Specific Training material from time to time and where required will assist with face to face training sessions
- You will assist with various adhoc projects and requirements as identified by the leadership of the OUTvest and OUTlife businesses to support and assist with the expansion and development of the face to face sales force
- You will assist with the drafting various business reports and MIS functions of the TAS Department as well as reporting to management
- Drafting technical advice documents and summaries to support the face to face support staff
- As and when identified, you will be required to accompany OFA’s when consulting with clients to provide support with technical advice. This may also include travelling to other provinces from time to time as the business grows
- To assist the TAS department with the evolution and development of an advice house view including a holistic advice framework
