- Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.

- Cost management of products and assist with new product costings models.
- Manage use of raw materials to meet production targets as set out weekly in forecasts
- Analyse budgets and continuously control production costs and rectify waste measures.
- Manage all activities within the production process, including maintenance and the workforce.
- Manage all teams within your production departments and the communication between the workshop and upper management.
- Monitor reasons for absenteeism and minimise the impact on production, liaising with HR.
- Create and maintain contingency plans in the event of interruptive production.
- Implement standard operating procedures.
- Determine training needs of staff members.
- Create and implement organisational/production changes on an operative level.
- Focus on growing business and revenue by implementing necessary changes to product/production line to enter new markets or grow existing territories.
- Ramp up production to ensure the company is operating at required capacity.
- Manage customer and internal quality standards, liasing with Quality Manager
- Responsible for ensuring cleanliness in all production areas.
- Prepare the production areas for factory inspections and audits.
- Liaise with the Store manager and Procurement to ensure a smooth supply of raw materials to the production line**Inherent Requirements**
- Education in business administration or a related field
- Lean Six Sigma
- Experience managing a branch
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Managed a team of 15 people and above
