Electrical Estimator

**Role Requirements**:

- Provide precise cost estimates for control systems and on-site electrical installations to existing clients and potential customers across various industries,
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, budget, and expectations, offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Interpret specifications, electrical schematics, and BOMs.
- Adhere to regulations to ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and other requirements.
- Work closely with suppliers to secure optimal costings.
- Independently generate timely and accurate quotes to secure new business with a keen eye for detail.
- Assist other departments, including design, production and sales to ensure alignment with client needs.

**Essential Criteria**:
Able to provide proof of estimation / quoting experience in the electrical field.
- Education to BTech or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Ability to comprehend electrical specifications, schematics, drawings, block cable diagrams, BOMs, etc.
- Good understanding of electrical standards.
- Capability to complete Tender submissions.
- High attention to detail and strong business acumen for project cost understanding.
- Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc).
- Self-management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to develop and learn new skills through on and off-the-job training.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- 2-3 years of project management experience.

**Salary**: Up to R15,000.00 per month
