Junior Medical Communications Manager
**Location**: Woodmead
The Junior Medical Communication Manager plays a crucial role in developing and disseminating clear, accurate, and compelling medical and scientific information about L'Oréal's products, particularly within the dermocosmetics or cosmeceutical categories. This involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to create a variety of medical communication materials that effectively communicate scientific data and support L'Oréal's medical strategy.
**Specific Outputs/Responsibilities**:

- Content Development: Create high-quality medical and scientific content, including slide decks, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, training materials, and other communication pieces for diverse audiences (HCPs, internal stakeholders, patients).
- Publication Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of publication plans for clinical trials and other research activities, ensuring timely dissemination of scientific findings in peer-reviewed journals and medical conferences.
- Medical Education Support: Develop educational materials and programs for HCPs to enhance their understanding of relevant scientific topics and L'Oréal's products.
- Scientific Writing and Editing: Write and edit scientific documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency with medical and scientific standards and L'Oréal’s style guidelines.
- Literature Reviews: Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on specific therapeutic areas or product-related topics to identify key scientific evidence and inform medical communication strategies.
- Data Interpretation and Visualization: Analyze and interpret complex scientific data, translating it into easily understandable visuals and messages for different target audiences.
- Congress Support: Assist in the preparation of scientific presentations and posters for medical congresses, including supporting materials and logístical arrangements.
- Internal Communication: Develop and deliver medical communication updates to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding of key scientific messages.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to relevant ethical guidelines, regulations, and L'Oréal's internal policies regarding medical communication and transparency.

**Qualifications**:

- Advanced scientific degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD) or a Master's degree in a relevant scientific field, combined with experience in medical communication.
- 1-3 years of experience in medical communication within the pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical, or related industry is preferred. Relevant experience within a scientific communication role may also be considered.
- Experience with scientific publications and presentations is highly desirable.
- Experience with in-field HCP interactions desireable

**Technicalities**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with referencing software.
- Familiarity with graphic design software
- Knowledge of statistical software
