Junior Medical Relations Manager
**Location**: Woodmead
**Job Summary**:
The Junior Medical Relations Manager plays a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), ensuring scientific exchange and facilitating the dissemination of accurate and balanced information about L'Oréal's dermocosmetic or cosmeceutical products. This role requires a strong scientific background, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the ethical and regulatory landscape governing interactions with HCPs.
**Specific Outputs/Responsibilities**:

- HCP Engagement: Identify, establish, and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other relevant HCPs within a defined therapeutic area. This involves regular communication, meetings, and attendance at scientific congresses.
- Scientific Exchange: Facilitate credible and transparent scientific discussions with HCPs regarding L'Oréal's products, including their mechanism of action, clinical data, and safety profile. Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Medical Education: Develop and deliver medical education programs for HCPs, ensuring content is scientifically sound, unbiased, and aligned with L'Oréal's medical strategy. This could involve presentations, webinars, or development of educational materials.
- Insight Gathering: Collect insights from HCPs regarding unmet medical needs, treatment practices, and perceptions of L'Oréal's products. This information is crucial for informing future research and development efforts.
- Advisory Boards: Organize and manage advisory board meetings with HCPs to gather expert opinions and feedback on specific scientific questions or product development initiatives.
- Medical Affairs Projects: Contribute to the development and execution of medical affairs projects, such as clinical studies, literature reviews, or development of medical communications materials.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with relevant ethical guidelines, regulations, and L'Oréal's internal policies.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and regulatory affairs, to ensure alignment and effective communication of medical information.

**Competencies**:

- Medical Communication: Expertise in developing and delivering effective medical communications to HCPs.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant regulations and guidelines governing interactions with HCPs.
- Project Management: Ability to plan, execute, and manage medical affairs projects effectively.

**Qualifications**:

- Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD) or equivalent. A Master's degree in a relevant scientific field may be considered with relevant experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical, or related industry is preferred.

**Experience interacting with HCPs. Technicalities**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with medical literature databases (e.g. PubMed).
- Familiarity with referencing software (e.g., Mendeley).
