Stock Administrator

Hotel close Franschhoek is recruiting for a Stock Administrator (Laundry & Equipment). You will be responsible for accurate recordkeeping with the ability to complete duties quickly and methodically whilst maintaining a high degree of operational delivery, will result in success within this role.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ordering, receiving and issuing of uniforms and linen to the respective departments and Hotels
- Prepare all new joiner uniform requirements prior to their start date
- Support Senior Stock controller by providing par stock levels for linen and uniform items
- Responsible for monthly stock takes, checking and following up on variances
- Mending and altering any uniform and linen items, including towels, according to operational requirements
- Labelling of all new or relabelling of existing uniforms and linen according to property or department
- Manage and control all staff lockers through all the properties
- Processing of all related documents in the inventory control system
- Sourcing suppliers in line with our quality standard and requirements
- Maintain organised and clean storage areas
- Adhere to Health and Safety Standards
**Requirements**:
- Matric Certificate
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general administrative and computer duties
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ordering, issuing and receiving stock
- Experience in a 5-star luxury hotel environment would be advantageous
- Experience in working on Procure.net or similar procurement or stock management software, would be advantageous
- Driver's license would be advantageous
- Physical ability to do heavy lifting
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent timekeeping and good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
