For our Electrical Sector organization in South Africa, we are looking for a Country Marketing Manager.

In this role, you will be leading all the marketing operations, activities and initiatives for both the country and its export countries.

This is the central role for our organization of the country, it is part of the local Leadership team as it cooperates actively with the sales organization to define key market segments, business strategies, target audiences, defines the marketing strategy and also leads a successful development and deployment of marketing plans to support agreed long-term business strategies and achievement of profit plans goals on an annual basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cooperates closely with the local leadership team, in order to develop a marketing strategy supporting the defined business strategy, set up SMART objectives and build a comprehensive marketing plan for focus industry segments
- Leads country marketing team to deploy an annual marketing plan including integrated marketing campaigns and channel marketing activities for each agreed industry segment
- Offers coherent understanding of the competitor landscape is considered and leveraged to position Eaton complete product mix appropriately in the marketplace
- Ensures the successful launch of new products
- Ensure close and efficient cooperation with the sales organization and relevant Divisions, Central Segment and Channel teams and other central marketing functions
- Coordinates a continuous gathering and analysis of market information related to focus industry segments and customer groups on the local markets
- Develops an integrated marketing plan including definition of SMART marketing objectives, main customer segments to target in key industry segments and choosing digital, off-line and channel marketing tactics, which resonate with the chosen customer segments
- In charge for directing a successful implementation of the integrated marketing plan for each market segment and achievement of SMART marketing objectives including brand awareness, demand and lead generation, channel and sales enablement programs.
- Leads the local lead management process
- Coordinates the local product portfolio management and business development activities in the countries. This might include local market analysis, competitive analysis, proper positioning of the product portfolio, pricing management, local product launches
- Manages the local, country marketing team
- Leads the fiscal management of Country Sales Organization CSO marketing budgets to maximize return on investment
- Marketing responsible for successful sales enablement in the Country Sales Organization CSO
- Works closely with the Business Units, Central Segment, Channel, Technology and Marketing Communication Teams and other internal and external suppliers (PR agency, media buying agency, Eaton translation team, Eaton creative services team etc)
- Manages the reporting of the team marketing results to the Leadership and marketing contribution to the business goals on a regular basis. Utilizes central reporting dashboard to demonstrate return on marketing investment and ensure continuous improvement in all marketing communications activities

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree from an Accredited institution, preferably within one of the following: Marketing/Business / Engineering
- Postgraduate Degree is a plus, but not a must
- At least 5 years of experience in product marketing or marketing communication field. Experience in B2B is an advantage
- 2-3 years of experience as a Manager of people
- Experience with working in a global company
- Experience in demand generation campaigns, product management, partner program management, digital marketing and ROI responsibility highly desired
- Hands-on approach to execution of the marketing plan
- Digitalization mindset
- Proven track record in creative project planning, project management and working under deadlines
- Solid leadership and organizational skills, able to drive both direct and indirect team
- Ready to work in a highly international environment /in virtual teams (across different locations) / in a matrix organization
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experienced with executing multiple and complex projects simultaneously
- Ready to think and act strategically and drive change
- Strong customer-orientation
- An innovative, creative thinker with strong leadership and prioritization skills
- Self-starter with energy and enthusiasm towards in a matrix team environment
- Fluent level of English language is required for the role, as it is exposed at international level
