Role Purpose

**Requirements**:

- Matric or an equivalent qualification
- 2 years of experience within the Billing environment is essential
- 1 year of experience in a Leadership role essential
- Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- MS Office proficiency
- MS Excel proficiency is essential

Duties & Responsibilities
- Leading and developing a team of skilled individuals.
- Effective management of contributions, reconciliation of discrepancies, and debt book within Scheme mandate.
- Perform Membership functions, including member enrolment, maintenance of the member master file.
- Allocate workforce distribution, schedule, and coordinate work items while prioritizing work processes and services to achieve efficiency and quality standards.
- Resolve escalations accurately and timeously.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain interfacing with all service providers relating to the Membership functions both internal and external.
- Prepare accurate, complete and timeous reporting within the agreed mandates.
- Ensure that scheme membership rules and all relevant mandates are implemented and adhered to.
- Continuously review and enhance operating guidelines (including system enhancements).
- Cross-skilling of staff to ensure multi-departmental service delivery.
- Drive appropriate projects within the area that will enhance the service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide input on new products on billing, membership and debt-related issues.
- Interfacing with internal and external Auditors.
