A leading site services/construction firm is looking for a qualified, skilled and experienced Financial Administrator to manage, oversee and maintain all financial activities in the business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement and payroll.

If you have sound background in Finance, excellent accounting, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills and can focus intently on achieving results, we would like to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with financial policies, standard procedures, and regulations.
- Extract and monitor financial reports, analyze trends, and provide meaningful financial information for decision-making.
- Maintenance and monitoring of the financial system (Acumatica).
- Manage Finance department staff (Creditors, Debtors, Buyers and Payroll).
- Prepare budgets and report on financial projections (e.g., liquidity and cash flow).
- Stakeholder involvement with suppliers for the purpose of requesting extra information and/or raising queries.
- Oversee the reconciliation of supplier statements, preparation and processing of monthly payments.
- Oversee weekly & monthly fleet (fuel) and petty cash recon.
- Keepa firm hand on Debtors, conduct monthly Debtors reconciliation and age analysis.
- Deal with Debtors queries, place overdue accounts on hold and hand delinquent accounts over for collection.
- Liaise with legal advisors in relation to finance matters.
- Stakeholder communication related to financial matters.
- Sending out statements to clients.
- approving products and services to be purchased.
- Ensure effective inventory management and accurate maintenance of purchase and pricing records.
- Ensure effective maintenance and updating of supplier information records.
- Research and evaluate key prospective suppliers.
- Monitor time & attendance and ensure effective/accurate pay-roll administration.

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (Acumatica will be an advantage).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions).
- Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures and best practices.
- Time-management and organization skills.
- Confidentiality.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent numeracy.
- Proficiency in English and business writing skills.
- Preferably a BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R17 500,00 - R23 500,00 per month
