Office Administrator

**The main purpose of the job**:
To always maintain the professional and corporate image of the company. To assist with switchboard, Planon call desk backup and office administration.
**Desirable Education and experience**:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Experience on call desk/switchboard/basic technical facility background
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Computer and Administration
**Key areas of responsibility**:
- Comply with all Health and Safety legislation, policies, and procedures
- Comply with Code of Ethics and Empact Code of Business Conduct
- Ensure a professional and presentable presence as frontline when on reception duties to both clients and staff
- Answer the switchboard promptly and efficiently, Planon support help desk taking care to advise all incoming callers if the intended staff member is not available
- Maintain the office attendance register
- Sort and distribute all mails daily
- Assist with FM Office administration
- It is advisable to discourage staff members from congregating in the reception area
- Prepare and maintain all telephone lists
- Maintain a register of all cheques received, hand-delivered invoiced, and all postage records as required
- Maintain telephone management system (TMS) and print out monthly reports
- Maintain special job register
