**Main duties and responsibilities**:
Program initiatives:

- Leading, directing and managing resources to accomplish program objectives on time and within budget
- Ensuring high quality, appropriate learning and development solutions and interventions are designed and delivered in keeping with learning and development best practice and standards
- Modernisation of learning programs through innovative technology or other solutions
- Responsible for program management and leading the PPS Academy training and development programs
- Conducting program plans and conducting a thorough review of all components in the program plans, scope, deliverables, time frame, and costs
- Compiling post program evaluations to determine if the expected results were successfully delivered
- Developing lessons learned for continuous improvement in program delivery
- Preparing reports and presentations for PPS Academy Programs
- Defining the program requirements to establish and maintain a common understanding of the requirements to be addressed by the program
- Leading, monitoring and implementing programs
- Responsible for the development and management of training and development policies
- Responsible for planning discussions that inform critical programs and the full operational execution thereof
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end process (planning, scheduling, documenting, budget and engaging external stakeholders) for strategic programs
- Driving projects aligned to the business strategy
- Providing administrative support on key strategic initiatives associated with the programs
- Managing the delivery of programs, projects, and solutions

Stakeholder Management:

- Ensuring relevant internal and external stakeholders, resources, service providers and partners are appropriately contracted to deliver and maintain service level agreements, including external contractors
- Building relationships - working collaboratively with others, inside and outside the organisation
- Meeting commitments and building trust and develop positive working relationships internally and externally
- Collaborating with key business stakeholders to ensure understanding of the PPS Academy Programs
- mplementing and maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal and external stakeholders and manage all services providers
- Effectively managing program scopes by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved
- Management of vendors as per the agreed SLA standards and deliverables
- Accountable for program results
- Tracking and controlling program milestones, providing regular status updates on programs
- Assisting the company in developing, managing the training and development policies
- Developing and managing engagement with internal and external entities in building and developing PPS partnership opportunities in terms of collaboration and facilitation to maintain mutually beneficial relationships
- Enabling and maintaining strong, positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders by providing a framework and strategy that guides them in achieving their personal and business goals
- Providing input to PPS leadership on various aspects of business development
- Developing a high-performance model by conducting monthly performance discussions with stakeholders

People and Culture:

- Providing leadership and management oversight, ensuring the effective implementation of programs through leadership (setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating them, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal) to ensure that the highest level of performance is achieved
- Mentoring individuals as needed or required, conducting reviews of key deliverables
- Creating an environment where people are encouraged to take ownership and use their initiative to find the best way of implementing plans
- Ensuring employees have the knowledge and skills to execute their deliverables. Validating that training programs are adequate to provide solid required knowledge and skills
- Managing and maintaining the internal and external stakeholders’ programs

Risk and Compliance:

- Maintaining and continuously improving policies, standards, and procedures to ensure demonstrable regulatory control for all information and risk for the organization from the PPS Academy and SETA perspective
- Performing programs risk assessments to develop response strategies
- Manage the budget, ensuring proper governance requirements are adhered to
- Contributing to the annual budget planning process
- Taking full responsibility for the financial resources within area of accountability
- Preparing budgets for the programs and managing expenses accordingly
- Scheduling risk and compliance audits, reviewing the outcomes audit process; directing compliance issues to appropriate resources for investigation and resolution
