Manager: Revenue Assurance

**Job Duties/Responsibilities will include**:

- Develop a revenue assurance strategy in line with the Group Strategy,
- Review the existing Group revenue pricing models in consultation with the business for continuous improvement,
- Oversee implementation of the revenue assurance strategy, approved tarrifs and manage the risk of leakages
- Perform regular reconciliation and (gap) analysis of revenue streams
- Perform quality assurance testing on key processes which may impact recording, processing and billing of revenue producing events.
- Ensure correct recognition of all revenue streams as per IFRS
- Proactively identifying revenue leakages or potential leakage areas, highlighting to respective divisions and catalyzing closure of the same with final billing
- Verify if billing is happening accurately, completely and consistently on the basis agreements signed and keeping updated with business developments (new products, new agreements, renewal etc.)
- Verify the link between the debtors’ book and various revenue streams
- Ensure process adherence by conducting data analysis including variance and root cause analysis and reporting
- Identifying non-compliances within company & quantifying the opportunity loss
- Monitor revenues, transactions & margins along the Revenue Life Cycle to minimize any intentional or unintentional leakages in a proactive manner
- Provide monthly financial analysis reports to various Divisions
- Proactively raise issues and formulate plans for their resolution regarding compliance, process, and business risks.
- CA (SA) /ACCA/CIMA with 3 -5 years post articles experience in revenue assurance function
- Experience/knowledge of ERP's (preferably SAP) and the use of software packages such as Microsoft Office
- Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS
- Attention to detail
- Very analytical
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to interact with Senior and Executive Management
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exposure to PFMA will be an added advantage
