Senior Compensation and Benefit Administrator

**About Us**:
We are looking for a Senior Compensation and Benefits Administrator to maintain the integrity, accuracy and transformation of information processed received processed into payroll data on the company’s employee HR information and payroll system in compliance with relevant legislation, bargaining council agreements and company policies and procedures ensuring an accurate and timeous payroll. In addition it will include post salary/ wages query management and obligatory deductions, as well as assist with management of the Biometrics system

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Manage and capture employee data on HR and Payroll system
- Responsible for payroll information accuracy
- Responsible for ensuring correct company procedure where payroll is concerned
- Manage, maintain, and update payroll related data
- Engage with employees and managers on pay queries
- Utilise HRIS to streamline C&B processes and improve digitization and pay accuracy
- Engage with C&B Administrators & HR on employees and employee documentation
- Identify risks associated with operational functions relating to payroll administration
- Ensure that workflow continues without interruption and all associated payroll payments deadlines are met
- Ensure correct company procedure followed with regards to documentation submitted for employees
- Daily audits on employee information on payroll addressed
- Create and run salary sheets and reports
- Prepare payroll reports for finance department
- Monthly checking of payrolls before finalisation for any anomalies, such anomalies to be communicated to the Site/Area manager and C&B manager
- Maintain organisational positions keeping to contract headcount and requirements
- Maintain online records on File Manager.
- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
- Monthly updates on security officers on Psira
- 3rd party reports and updates
- Submission of EMP201
- Assist C&B Manager with any adhoc duties as required
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Knowledge of payroll systems (Educos Vision/PRP) and legislation
- Knowledge of labour costing, payroll journals, bonus and leave provisions and balance sheet recons (Understanding of accounting principles)
- Data capturing of large volumes of data
- Be able to work independently
- High degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Deadline driven
- Knowledge of the Security Bargaining Council Agreement and security industry
- Good communication skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Advanced Excel and analysis skills
- Report writing skills & general HR knowledge
**Qualifications**:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Payroll Diploma / relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous
- 3 - 5 year's experience as a Compensation and Benefits Administrator or similar field
- Experience on PRP Biometrics system
