**Key Performance Areas (KPA’s)**

1 Ensure that ware is picked from the correct BIN.

2 Ensure that the quality of pallets picked and loaded meet the BMWR.

3 Ensure that the correct documentation is handed over to the Dispatch driver.

4 Ensure that stock is received correctly, and that received stock meets the BMWR

5 Team Management.

6 Ensure that HSE procedures are adhered to

**JOB SUMMARY**

As the Supervisor your primary responsibility is to ensure that trucks are loaded/ offloaded and dispatched/ received effectively and efficiently in line with the clients SOP requirements and ensure that stock dispatched and or received conforms to the BMWR.

All the Clients Work Instructions (WI), policies and procedures relevant to this job function must be adhered to, always. Your Job description is not limited to the responsibilities below and you will be required to perform other reasonable tasks and assume other reasonable responsibilities in line with your position.
MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS **Ensure the team is ready and available at the commencement of the shift.**
- Conduct daily safety meetings (Toolbox Talks) and Complete Manual Attendance Register at the start and end of shift.
- Ensure the team is in full Personal Protective Equipment.
- Ensure the shipment is open and linked to the delivery, with correct shipment type and route.
- Ensure Bins are checked prior to commencing picking.
- Ensure that stock is picked from the correct Bins as per Stock Controller instruction.
- Ensure that stock is counted prior and post picking to ensure bin accuracy.
- Ensure that the information is recorded accurately in the picking slips.
- Non-conforming stock is removed and placed in the designated bin, and changes are made on the picking slip, and non-conforming stock process is followed.
- Ensure that the pallets picked conform to the BMWR (free of Burn holes, not kicked, free of foreign objects, do not have torn/cold shroud, and the underseal is intact, dates in line with FIFO)
- Confirm the quantity picked ties up with the picking Instruction.
- Confirm that dates on pallets picked are in line with BMWR (maximum 2/3 days gaps)
- Always Maintaining FIFO system during picking.
- All pallets are counted for each load, and batch numbers are recorded.
- Ensure that COA/COC is requested from QA and issued as per customer requirements. Request COA/COA from QA 48 hours before loading if not loading COA/COC must be obtained immediately after stock release.
- On loading completion, ensure retrieval of all required documentation.
- Ensure effective communication with all relevant stakeholders for any deviations to load plan.
- Ensure that Post Goods Issue and Delivery note are printed, and the shipment is closed (shipment is not closed if there are further loading points).
- Ensure that the loading schedule is updated with all relevant information and pick up comments are captured on One Network where necessary.
- If a manual document is used, ensure that prior authorization is obtained from the Planning Manager/ Distribution Superintendent, and that all relevant information is entered into the manual Document as per SOP.
- On arrival, check that the all the documents (SAP/ Manual) are correct.
- Ensure pallets are offloaded safely and placed on the floor for checking.
- Ensure stock is verified against Delivery Note (the manual or SAP generated) and conforms to BMWR.
- Should you receive loads, the bin location should be obtained from the Stock Controller to which the stock will be binned.
- Good ware is put away in the bin allocated by the Stock Controller.
- On truck arrival, ensure that the vehicles are inspected, and decks are clean.
- Ensure the safe loading/placement of material on trucks.
- Complete relevant documentation and capture (photos) evidence of load.
- On loading completion, ensure retrieval of all required documentation.
- Responsible for monitoring and updating of the One Network System.
- Monitor and maintain all quality related stock ensuring that it is not picked and dispatched to customers.
- In the case of non-conforming pallets, pictures are taken and nonconformance noted on the Delivery note. Stock is sent back to the sending warehouse.
