Our national client in the production, warehousing and distribution industry requires your skill and experience as Production Supervisor for one of their operations in Bellville South, Cape Town.

**JOB SUMMARY**

The employee will ensure effective and accurate management of the production facility within the warehouse. Conduct daily scoring, cycle counts, and annual stock takes within the warehouse. To adhere to stock policies and procedures and ensure strict control of inventory with a goal to minimize stock losses and improve inventory accuracy and reporting on all stock related issues.

Your Job description is not limited to the responsibilities below and you will be required to perform other reasonable tasks and assume other reasonable responsibilities in line with your position.
MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS **The employee will ensure effective and accurate management of the production facility within the warehouse to ensure day-to-day operational activities are carried out.**
- Ensure all resources are available (workforce, equipment, etc.)
- Ensure competency and relevant licenses of all staff placed under you.
- To ensure that FIFO is always maintained in the warehouse.
- Responsible for completion of daily scoring of production, per shift. Ensuring the scores tie up to what was produced.
- Responsible for monitoring BIN accuracy by means of movement bin counts, cycle counts and full warehouse stock counts.
- Responsible for conducting job off counts / recons.
- Responsible for reconciling the put away slips and ensuring that the ware has been stacked correctly.
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling of stock and ensuring placement into resort. Ensure B7 forms are issued, in the event of resort ware being scored.
- Responsible for ensuring rework and damaged pallets are moved to relevant locations on SAP as per put-away.
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling that all ware are always picked from the correct BIN on SAP - always ensuring SAP balances back to physical stock.
- Monitor and maintain all quality related stock ensuring that it is not picked and dispatched to customers.
- Ensure all quality related stock is isolated on the floor and moved to restricted ware in SAP (QA Hold).
- Responsible for maintaining a working and practical housekeeping warehouse.
- You will be required to work closely with SHEQ Management on all relevant stacking requirements and execution of such.
- Conduct perpetual counts daily.
- Address deviations with parties at fault to HR Department
- Conduct daily safety meetings (Toolbox Talks) and Complete Manual Attendance Register at the start of shift.
- Ensure that the toolbox talk attendance and Manual Attendance Register is handed in to Safety and or HR department before the end of your shift.
- It is your responsibility to ensure a proper handover is conducted with the next shift supervisor before clocking out from your shift.
- Ensure all paperwork is maintained and filed accordicly.
- To create an efficient working environment through clear communication
- Other ad hoc duties

**Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience**:

- Matric (Grade 12) - Essential
- Post Grade 12 qualification will be advantageous.
- Experience in Production systems and SAP WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Supervisory or another warehouse position.
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
