**Unit Manager - Human Resources - Mining**

Are you an experienced Human Resources professional looking for an exciting opportunity in the dynamic mining industry? Look no further Our client, a leading mining company, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Unit Manager for their Human Resources department. (what do you think of this intro)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure Human resources (employees) availability within the production sections are optimized.
- Investigate, diagnose, and takes appropriate corrective actions to effect compliance.
- Develop proper action plans timeously and implements such effectively to ensure continuous objective achievement.
- Actively support site initiatives aimed at securing a Zero Harm Culture and the Wellbeing of employees.
- Reporting operationally to the Senior Manager Operations and functionally to the Human Resources Manager.
- Ensure effective Human Capital Management (Manning).
- Ongoing communication and expert advice to add value and improve productivity.
- Human Resources Development, Talent Management and Performance Management as well as Employee Relations Management, Recruitment, Selection and Staffing.

**Minimum Required Qualification**
- Level 7: Bachelors Degree and Advanced Diplomas Bachelor Degree Business, Commerce and Management Studies.
- At least 5-8 years’ Human Resources experience in a related role.
- Exhibit above average verbal and written communication skills in English and display strong interpersonal, administrative and organizational skills.
- Pay attention to detail, and have a meticulous and well-organized work method.
- Display strong analytical, problem solving and presentation abilities.

**Advantageous Qualifications**
- NQF 8 Post graduate Diploma/Honours Degree/Professional Qualification Degree in Human Resources/Employee Relations or relevant filed.
- Professional registration e.g. SABPP.
- Qualification in Labour Law.
- A good network of appropriate professional contacts within and outside the company.
