- Our client is a large organisation in a diverse range of industries. We are recruiting for an HR Generalist (Business Partner) to deliver value-added HR services to management and employees in line with the objectives of the organization.

- To align business objectives with relevant people objectives throughout the organisation by formulating optimal partnerships with business stakeholders to serve as a trusted people partner.**Category**:

**General Requirements**:

- Principal Accountabilities:

- Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

- Operational Service Delivery
- Stakeholder Management
- Risk Management
- Implement high quality HR Business Partner services that span across the employee life cycle from selection to off-boarding.
- Conduct regular (weekly or monthly) meetings with respective business units to ensure alignment of people and business objectives.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and review Veritas HR Policies and Procedures as required.
- Consult with line management on any people related matters and provide HR guidance when appropriate.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions etc.)
- Conduct all necessary payroll administration tasks as and when required.
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning as and when required.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships for the purpose of expectations management, knowledge sharing and integration, and to manage the organisation’s reputation.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures within scope of control.
- Drive the creation and implementation of a personal development plan aimed at achieving excellence in the role.

Skills and Competencies:

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the relevant Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience working with a human resources information system (HRIS) such as Workday, SAP, Sage VIP, Pastel, etc.
- A proven track record partnering with business to deliver value-added HR services across selection, recruitment, performance management, talent management, employee relations etc.
- Experience working with payroll and conducting payroll administration duties is preferable.
- Experience with analyzing data and generating insights to guide business decision making.
- A proven track record of establishing excellent relationships with stakeholders and an energetic approach to work.
- Detail and process orientated.
- Effective administration and organizing skills.
- Strong analytical capability.
- Report writing and presentation skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Best practice knowledge and expertise in the field of HR.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work calmly under pressure.
- Gathering, presenting, and communicating information.
- Knowledge of all relevant HR and Labour Relations legislation and frameworks such as BCEA, EEA, LRA etc.

Key requirements include:

- Relevant Diploma in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Labour Relations, or a related field. NQF 6
- Relevant Graduate Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is desirable.
- 3-5 Years’ experience working as an HR Generalist.
