**Position Summary**:
The Junior Accounts Payable Clerk will assist in the efficient and accurate processing of invoices and payments. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under deadlines. You will work closely with the accounts payable team and other departments to ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review, verify, and process incoming invoices.
- Accurately enter invoice details into the accounts payable system.
- Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
- Assist in preparing and processing weekly payment runs (EFT and wire transfers).
- Reconcile supplier statements and manage supplier enquiries in a timely manner.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing necessary reports and documentation.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and organized records of financial documents.
- Perform other duties and tasks as required by the wider larger finance team or operational teams.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant Associate degree, diploma.
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- A team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
