Matric and a minimum of 4 - 5 years sales experience is required, with a stable track record
"Business to business" sales experience is essential as you will be dealing with corporate companies
Previous sales experience with electronic equipment of any sort is essential, for example : cellular, telecoms, ICT, computers, aircons, Hvac, solar, Inverter systems, home automation systems, security systems, lighting, electrical installations etc.
Set up meetings with clients on a daily basis & keep your calendar up to date
Grow, develop and promote the company

**Build and maintain relationships with clients**: new and existing
Deal with client queries and provide feedback timeously
Give product demonstrations at clients sites or at the premises
Ensure you have all product material required for the demonstration
Conduct site inspections whenever requested by client, as well as when technical assistance is required
Inform the client of the expected delivery date of stock items
Ensure administration and reports are completed accurately and submitted on time
Carry out all instructions as requested by the management
You play an important role as guardian of the companys image and reputation and as such you are required to ensure your presentation aligns with this image
Ensure a consistent standard of excellence and professionalism in all interaction with people, whether clients, suppliers or colleagues
Maintain the companys desired level of confidentiality in respect of all aspects of your job. Ensure utmost integrity and honesty in all interactions with your colleagues, management and the companys clients and suppliers
Due to the nature of our business your position in the company may be redefined from time to time, as may be your responsibilities
Ensure that your sales targets are met or exceeded
Build portfolio of clients, both existing and new
Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure that return business is generated
Provide the most appropriate solution to satisfy your clients requirements
Remain fully skilled in new technology
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to turn leads into successful sales
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationship building with clients
Sound technical knowledge or the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and solutions
Actively canvass for sales prospects
Identify new customers with the result of increasing the current customer base
Turn leads into sales and close deals quickly
Ensure that a clients needs are understood, interpreted and communicated accurately and that their expectations are met and managed at all times
Assume responsibility of the complete sales process from start to finish (this includes quotes, orders, invoices, deliveries, support & collection of funds)
Time Management
Generate quotations accurately & within customer timelines as per their needs
Ensure that all quotations, invoices, lead sheets & pipelines are uploaded to the company CRM/Financial operating system
Ensure that the correct discount structures are applied consult your manager
Request assistance from technical support / product specialists when needed
Attend all sales meetings and training sessions
Ensure that consultants (specifiers) are fully au fait with our products, engender confidence in these products and the Companys ability to support them
