- 4-year Logistics or Supply Chain Management degree, or 4-year equivalent diploma (BTECH) OR,
- 4-year Industrial Engineering, or 4-year equivalent diploma (BTECH) OR,
- Production Management degree or 4-year equivalent diploma (BTECH) OR,5-10 years minimum relevant experience in industry with in-depth experience in all job-related requirements listed below

**Additional Computer Skills**:
WMS advanced experience (CMMS3 & SAP) will be essential requirement
- Highly proficient in Excel/PowerPoint for data management and reporting.

**Job-related Requirements**:
5-8+ years, Automotive material handling-line supply experience, and 2+ years project management;
- OEM or Tier-1 manufacturing experience;
- Experience working in a key positions Warehouse, Body shop, Paint shop, Trim, Chassis & Final Lines, Program Launches;
- Experience managing multiple operations concurrently;
- Solid business aptitude and experience managing overall program implementation performance;
- Strong computer skills and expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access;
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task;
- Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative;
- Strong people management skills to manage diverse teams;
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills;
- Tact, a sense of urgency, and an overall customer satisfaction focus;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience with APQP, TS16949
- Ability to work extended hours during the week and weekends
- Site has a 3 shift operations, shift work pattern will be required
- Travel when required
- Own vehicle & valid license
- Ability to work under pressure & adapt to change

**ADDED ADVANTAGES FOR THIS ROLE**:

- Negotiation skills & relationship management client and / or supplier
- Sound knowledge of OEM operational process
- Operational experience and the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of HSE compliance
- Knowledge of ERP/WMS/Systems Integration will be beneficial

**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
This position aims to ensure contract adherence in terms of client relations, operational performance, commercial and financial performance, people management and development and continual improvement initiatives. The role needs to ensure operations are managed in accordance with the companys standards and policies procedures. Ensure that the companys strategy, goals and initiatives are cascaded down through the organization into the various areas of the operation. Support and actively participate in development services and solutions to complement of the companys offering to the Automotive industry.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Attend daily customer meetings and provide detailed operational feedback
- Manage stock integrity in the material flow streams
- Support line side station readiness process with respective production areas
- Supply parts to respective line stations in timeous manner for successful daily volume achievements
- Manage part level changes and obsolescence process in line with customer requirements
- Manage all HR / IR related processes for all direct and indirect reports
- Establish departmental objectives and manage successful execution
- Provide direction and leadership and prioritize the activities of the Material Planning & Logistics
- Develop and manage the Material Planning & Logistics line supply operations
- Develop a plant synchronous material flow strategy that eliminate waste
- Coordinate the development of a lean plant layout that achieves Ford Production Systems requirements with the operations area leaders
- Provide leadership and direction to the group, Plan, Develop, Perform Workforce Readiness
- Provide MP&L functional knowledge, including new model launch planning, change control, bill of material, parts follow-up, shop floor scheduling, inventory planning, cycle checking, distribution, logistics, material handling, packaging, and industrial material to support the plant manufacturing processes with production and nonproduction materials
- Provides high-level management of MP&L floor operations and Production Control (office support)department
- Coach and counsel lean manufacturing behaviors and instill discipline in Material Planning & Logistics processes
- Meet material handling guidelines and regulations
- Review and evaluate future plans for expansion and/or modification of the plants Material Planning &Logistics equipment, resources, and/or future facilities to determine the effect on MP&L operations
- Ensure proper salaried headcount and manpower is in place to support the business needs
- Develop department objectives, Master Schedule, Implementation Roadmaps
- Participate on plant's senior leadership Operating Committee
- Participate with Supply Chain Management, scheduling, customers, and plant when there are production critical supply issues
- Assure Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Maintenance, Environment objectives and operating systems
