We’re looking for a talented HR Coordinator Operations who shares our values and our belief in a better future for mining.

**Job Description**:

- The HR Coordinator Operations role forms an integral part of the Operational Management team, with the responsibility of ensuring the effectiveness of the Human Resources function within Operations. The incumbent is responsible for providing a HR Generalist Service to the operation.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Providing advice, guidance and support to employees and line managers on a broad range of people related matters HR issues including the interpretation of policies, procedures and terms and conditions of employment; managing discipline and grievances, resourcing and workforce planning; and effective utilisation of the performance review process
- Ensure effective manning of jobs and teams according to plans
- Ensuring Operational functions comply with all obligations under relevant employee consultation processes.
- Leading and developing the performance of the team in line with AAP performance management system and company values, in order to achieve objectives.
- Keeping accurate and complete Labour information
- Maintaining up-to-date information on people movement including promotions, transfers secondment and exits
- Providing independent support on a range of Labour
- Management issues in conjunction with the relevant HR Line Managers and Supervisors
- Supporting and reinforcing people change programme interventions including up skilling of managers in e.g.
- Employee Relations
- Providing effective HR administration with accurate and timely information in line with established standards and processes
- Actively participating in various support meetings e.g. monthly Departmental team meetings, Safety meetings.

**This role is pitched at a 6/10 level and reports into the Manager HR Operations.**

**Qualifications
- You must have**:

- NQF 7 Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology

**Experience required**
- At least five years Human Resources experience, of which two years in the mining environment
- Strong SAP and Microsoft Office skills would be advantageous
