To administer and process HR, to facilitate training and assist with special projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

The key duties of the post are as follows:
- HR Administration
- Training Facilitator
- Recruitment and Selection
- Special projects

Plus other duties consistent with the position and department as directed.

**Because of the changing nature of our business your job description may inevitably change. You may, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities as directed by management.**

**Main purpose of job**:To manage the day to day running and quality of service of HR Department.

**Duties include**:
**HR Administration**
- Act as custodian of HR policies and procedures. Ensure that they are updated, maintained and reviewed.
- Distribute monthly birthday list and ensure staff receive a gift for their birthday
- Coordinate staff functions when needed.
- Coordinate staff wellness and teambuilding sessions
- Maintain staff personal files
- Process claims for Old Mutual and COID
- Assist with disciplinary action
- Coordinate performance management
- Compile and update job descriptions of staff
- Check all leave and leave forms
- Attend all relevant meetings

**Training Coordination**
- Identify training gaps in consultation with HOD’s
- Coordinate annual in-house training
- Coordinate external training where applicable

**Recruitment and Selection**
- Facilitate recruitment process, source CV’s for vacant positions
- Finalise appointments - Administration of appointments

**Special Projects**
- Assist volunteer coordinator with administration of volunteer programme
- Assist in special events, such as fundraising activities and the annual meeting.
- Other duties as assigned by CEO

- Relevant qualification in HR, or
- Relevant experience

**Education**:

- Relevant degree / Higher Diploma / NQF level 6

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: R8,000.00 per month
