The Billing Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of billing activities, including generating customer invoices, dealing with billing queries and disputes, maintaining billing databases and management reporting for an assigned portfolio of customers and or region.
The role is also responsible for maintaining customer, licence and services delivered records.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Uploading all Customer billing information on to Billing System
- Cross checking Billing System to Suppliers CLI database
- Loading daily CDR’s and resolve all rejections
- Update Customer Tariff Tables on the Billing System
- Liaising with the Customer Service Team on invoice queries
- Undertake pre
- and post-billing checks
- Generating reports and reviewing trends, (revenue, margin etc)
- Ensure correct Taxes (VAT, Sales Tax, TVA etc) are applied to Customer invoices
- Ensure all Customer invoices are issued correctly
- Monitor Customer payments and address any late payments in accordance with the agreed Collection Process, performing Credit Control duties as required.
- Customer Invoices - Ensure Customer invoices are accurate and correct and issued on time
- Billing Reports - Ensure the accuracy and timely issue of the required billing reports - customer, agency and sales
- Price Changes: Implement and manage rigorous controls related to price changes associated with both customers and suppliers and ensure the Billing System is up to date
- Discrepancies & Disputes: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes - record, review and resolve exceptions in a timely manner, generate dispute notices and manage resolution and escalation with the appropriate organization to achieve results
- Ensure the integrity of the billing data.
**General**

- Health & Safety - ensure all activities are undertaken in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
- Departmental Support - support as necessary other departments in achieving company objectives.
- Communication - maintain excellent communications with all employees, clients and customers and any other Stakeholders as required.
- Any other reasonable tasks
**Requirements**:
- It is essential you come from a similar telecoms billing background and have undertaken most if not all of the duties set out above.
- You must possess very strong English communication skills, an excellent telephone manner, be analytical, able to work under pressure, be well presented with a flexible positive attitude and have good, proactive problem-solving skills.
- Systems Experience: Excellent MS Excel Skills, competent with MS Outlook and other Microsoft Applications. Experience of XERO Accounts Package and Lifecycle Billing platform is desirable. Knowledge of provisioning and diagnostic tools and systems.
- Experience in implementing new billing systems and processes would be an advantage.
- Personality: Self-driven with a positive outlook and a clear focus on attention to detail. A natural thinker who critically assesses own performance. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior company executives. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person’s point of view. Able to get on with others and be a team-player.
- Other Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and commercial reports. Ability to create reports. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
