**Main Purpose of Role**

To provide strategic and operational leadership in the effective management and enablement of the human resources function

**Required Minimum Academic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Honours degree in Human Resources Management or related field Required

**Minimum Work Experience**
- 10 years’ experience in a Human Resources generalist role at a senior level
- 5 years’ experience operating at an Executive level
- Extensive experience in implementing and managing projects across the HR value chain
- Experience in contact centre environment essential. Outbound call centre, collections and offshoring experience is advantageous.

**Key Role and Responsibilities**:

- Operationalize and cascade the Group HR strategy at the business entity level
- Provide strategic business partnering, guidance and thought leadership on all HR matters across the HR value chain to all stakeholders and be a trusted advisor on all people related matters to the CEO and Executive teams
- Drive the effective execution of all HR related projects across the business in collaboration with HR COE and HR Operations teams
- Drive the Company Group transformation agenda at the entity level by identifying opportunities in HR processes such as recruitment, promotions, performance management, reward & recognition, Learning & Development & Succession Management to achieve our transformation targets
- Promote and maintain a harmonious Employee Relations climate and act as custodian of HR policies at the entity level
- Drive the implementation and socialization of the Company Group EVP initiatives
- Collaborate effectively with HR specialist functions to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions across the HR Value chain
- Lead the efficient HR service delivery across the employee life cycle at the entity level in the following areas: Talent Acquisition, HR administration, Performance Management. Employee Relations, Employee Wellness, Employee Engagement, Employee Value Proposition, Learning & Development, Talent Management
- Produce high impact strategic HR reports that track and analyse key HR metrics as input into various EXCO reporting
- Represent HR at various strategic forums
- Manage & lead te HR Operations team

**Technical competencies**:

- Advanced knowledge and understanding of all relevant labour legislation; Human Resources practices, Policies and Procedures
- Project Management Skills
- Report Writing
- Presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team of HR practitioners in multiple locations and/or entities

**Salary**: R1,500,000.00 - R1,800,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
