**Qualifications and experience**:

- BCom with articles.
- Management of staff.
- Administrative experience, systems driven, controls identification and implementation.
- Minimum of three years accounting and/or auditing experience.
- Technical and mining industry experience and exposure to Manufacturing will be advantageous.
- IT Orientated, automated systems and management reporting experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- The ability to prioritise and plan own workloads with a systematic work method and high attention to detail, in order to meet all reporting deadlines.

**Duties**:

- Responsible for all administrative functions in the Steelpoort, Lydenburg and Palabora area. Will have staff of 4 to oversee.
- Will be required to travel and may have to stay over.
- Overview of Accounting processing and reconciliation of control accounts.
- Continue to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting processes by identifying and implementing areas for development.
- Design and prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as required by management.
- Responsibility for managing risk within the accounting function, by reviewing processes and ensuring that adequate controls are in place to mitigate risk.
- Monitoring the control environment & culture to ensure that controls are effective and efficient.
