A boutique Hotel in the City of Cape Town seeks a Front Office / Front of House Manager.

The Front of House Manager main tasks include to manage the guest experience to implement the innovative ideas on how to maintain a good relationship between the clients and the hotel always making clients a first priority.

**KEY FOCUS AREAS**
- To assume full responsibility for the overall Front of House property operations, which include Reception, Guest Relations, and Gallery.
- Meet with the General Manager and Hotel Manager as required and update on property operations.
- To be a key ambassador of the brands including hosting Site Inspections, communicating with the market, and hosting journalists.
- To ensure effective departmental meetings take place, accurate minutes are taken and follow ups completed.
- To have weekly one on one meetings with all HODs reporting directly.
- To assist with the recruitment and selection when one of the management or HOD positions is vacant.
- To assist in achieving the best procurement agreements for the property.
- To keep the property innovative in its guest experience and up to date with both competitor offerings and current trends in the hospitality industry.
- To be readily available to deal with all guest queries and complaints. Responding to complaints to be dealt with in a pleasant, constructive manner always, using the feedback as a learning experience and platform for constructive discussion.
- To relive the hotel managers when they are off and assume responsibility for their properties in their absence.

**REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**
- Experience in Senior Hospitality Management positions - minimum 3 years.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Sound experience and proven track record of having made targets.
- Sound product and market knowledge, including international trends.
- Sound knowledge of product and supply.
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license and own reliable transport essential
- Confident team Player with positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control (People skills-tolerance, patience, and care.
- Presentable and well spoken
