ENERGY NRG 52/23 Senior Superintendent

**Requirements**:

- Electrical Trade Certificate
- 5 years post trade experience in construction and installation of CT

& VT operated meters as an accredited SANS 474 Class 4 Meter

Worker
- Principal operation and high degree knowledge of electricity

meters
- Computer literate and proficient on related SAP modules
- Metering installation national standards (SANS 474)
- Supervisory and leadership competency
- Familiar with SANS 10142-1 Code
- Good understanding of City’s Electricity By-Law
- Valid Code B driver’s licence

Key Performance Areas
- Independently schedules, co-ordinates and responsible for

construction and maintenance of city wide small power users.

(SPU), large users (LU), Small Scale Embedded Generation

(SSEG), meter rooms and utility energy current transformer (CT)

and voltage transformer (VT) metering infrastructure, installed in

private premises, all Eskom points of supply, protected

substations and powers stations
- Project managing the construction and scheduled the planned

maintenance programs for metering operations
- Managing and co-ordinate technical teams daily work activities

performed city wide
- Co-ordinates tasks/activities of staff associated with performance,

productivity and discipline
- Monitoring attendance/conduct and output and addressing

deviations from agreed performance indicators through informal

meetings/guidance and/or other approved methods designed to

improve and motivate staff
- Performs specific administrative tasks with the updating and

maintaining records and reporting requirements associated

operational key performance and result indicators
- Completing investigative reports and recording details of findings

associated with incidences/matters as required
