To plan, manage and monitor the implementation of area specific activities and processes in order to deliver on approved operational plans in an effective and efficient manner.

**Job Description**:
The role is within the Converged Security Office and your responsibilities will include the following:

- Lead motivate and manage the performance of the Identity and Access Management (IAM), Governance and Control Team
- Embedding formal performance development and informal coaching
- Determine and analyse development needs for the team and ensure that identified training requirements are budgeted for and executed
- Establish and maintain a succession plan for the team
- Act as SME for Logical Access Management (LAM) within the IAM Governance and Control Team providing guidance and support to Business Services colleagues in the Business Units and Rest of Africa
- Analyse effectiveness of risk, governance, control and reporting processes and systems in use in the environment and make recommendations for improvements
- Deliver assigned risk focused audits of a high quality and within allocated time and resource budgets
- Provide risk and audit expertise on special projects and investigations
- Assess control operating effectiveness (incl. trends) and provide a view to management and stakeholders of the issues noted through the completion of assurance reviews
- Actively engage stakeholders and be fully involved in progress and delivery
- Provide feedback based on historical experience and trend analysis to manage customers’ expectations on outcome of reporting requirements
- Stay abreast with knowledge and skills relevant to the level and area of work, as well as actively seek to attain those required for the next level of work

What do you need to get in?
- NQF Level 6; B degree in Risk Management/Audit/or equivalent;
- CISA/CISSP/CISM/CGERT/PMP or any other Governance related qualification
- Five (5) years in Financial Services or related industry
- Five (5) years experience in a risk and audit environment
- Six (6) years management experience
- Extensive Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Reasonable understanding of the principles, practices, and techniques related to IAM Governance and Control
