My client in the restaurant industry is looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to join this very successful franchise restaurant. The Restaurant Administrative Assistant will work under the Restaurant Owner performing general administrative and clerical duties. The Administrative Assistant is tasked with directing and working towards the completion of the restaurant’s aims and targets.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Assisting the Restaurant Owner with all admin tasks related to the restaurant
- Debtors and creditors reconciliations
- Ensuring all accounts are reconciled for payment
- Helps in making the staff schedule and schedule distribution
- Produces internal and external reports
- Daily review of progress for targets
- Assists the Restaurant Owner in developing the budget
- Supports the Restaurant owner in dealing with personal matters with staff
- Verifies staff compliance to restaurant policies and procedures
- Prepares financial documents for authorisation to the Restaurant Owner

Valuable experience for this position:

- Possesses strong organisation, evaluation and problem solving skills
- Able to adapt to flexible working schedules
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Able to provide leadership and guidance both to management and staff in relation to the standard of services
- Knowledge of restaurants and the hospitality business
- Significant experience in restaurant operations and back office.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: R6,500.00 - R8,500.00 per month
