Sales Account Representative

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Customer Sales and Account Relationship Representative based in eThekwini Durban. The purpose of this position is to promote and sell all portfolio products to established and new customers and existing customer projects nationally in South Africa as well as our International client base.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Matric; Tertiary Qualification in Marketing / Sales
- Computer Literate
- 5 Years experience in a similar role
- Well groomed, well-spoken - driven by customer satisfaction and personal goals
- Previous selling experience in a CCTV, Security, PPE, Safety and such sectors advantageous
- Adhere strictly to the company’s policies with regards to business ethics and anti-competitive behaviour
- Valid Drivers License, Own Transport, No Criminal Record / Restrictions
- Ability to multitask and make sales benefit the employee, incentives are given where credit and work is due
- Ideally someone who is hardworking and wants to be part of a great team (current monthly sales turnover is R1mil+)

**Duties**:
- The implementation and management of marketing and sales strategies
- The achievement of set sales and financial targets (margin, DSO’s and ASP and Volume)
- Increasing the distribution channels of products and services offered by the company
- Resolving customer complaints that might arise
- Pricing of tender documents as well as day to day quotations requested by customers inclusive of estimations from plans submitted by customers
- Monitoring and reporting of competitor pricing and strategies
- Regular product training for internal staff and customers alike
- Assist in the effective management of customer accounts
- Building long-term business relationships with customers
- Submission of monthly management and market reports as required by superior
- Monthly auditing and authorization of transporter claims
- Fulfilling the internal sales function if and when required
- Take Internal Sales Consultants on customers visits as and when required
- Participating in stock takes on a regular basis
- Ensuring site safety and that company health and safety standards are implemented and adhered to in the daily depot operations
Working with the Companies Top customers to build long term strategic partnerships and trusted relationships as well as manage both the Client and the Clients Interactions with other employees and Departments to ensure a greater lifetime value for their Clients, to manage expectations and ensure the Clients’ needs are met in a timely fashion.
New Business:
- All New Business resulting in sales will be included in Monthly Commission for a period of 12 months.
- Existing Accounts that have remained dormant for a period of 6 months or longer is deemed New Business (same period applicable as per New Business Commission)
- Monthly target for new business is R200 000.00 excluding VAT
Key Accounts:
- Revenue Measure, growth (New Business) on Key Accounts will be qualified by re-instating new Sales in Regions which have been dormant for more than 6 Months.
- It is the responsibility of the Key Accounts Manager to obtain Forecasts of the accounts and communicating the information with the Client.
- To provide a History of orders to generate additional Revenue from the client and increase their range with the additional Add on products that are available.
- To be proactive when contacting clients, nurture relationships and provide strategic planning
- Target for key accounts is R1,5 MIL per month. (Currently on R2MIL)
