Sanlam Investments Cluster
Sanlam Investments consists of some of South Africa's Leading investment and wealth management businesses and is based in Cape Town, with a presence in Sub-Saharan Africa, the United Kingdom, Europe and India.

Sanlam Investments
The second largest manager in South Africa as measured by assets under management, SIM manages assets for individual, Institutional, retail and corporate clients and offers investments strategies in vehicles ranging from collective investments to institutional portfolios. SIM is grouped into six boutiques that share a common research platform. What will make you successful in this role?
Key responsibilities
Review static data
Monitor automated internal and external data loads into warehouse and resolve any issues.
Enhance the data with relevant information required for internal and external client reporting.
Run data audits and clear any data issues.
Extract and provide data files for client reporting systems.
Extract and provide ad hoc reports for internal and external clients.
Resolve internal and external client queries with regard to data issues.
Works with management to develop database strategies to support company needs and consult with and advise users on access to various database.
Continuously review and enhance data related processes.

**Ongoing system developments**:

- Analyse business requirements.
- Write specifications.
- Test development and
- Sign-off development

Limited operational tasks.
Minimum requirements
Qualifications / Experience
A relevant tertiary financial qualification.
2 or more years' experience in a similar role in asset management.
Financial instrument data experience.
HIPORT & NX Manager knowledge would be an advantage.

Technical Competencies
Analytical/ problem solving skills.
Previous data administration experience.
Understand system data flow processes.
SQL knowledge or exposure is preferable.
Ability to write macros within Excel would be an advantage.
