**Descriptions**:

- New Employees - register with UIF, Bargaining Council, Provident Fund and Staff contracts
- When staff leave - all exit documents UIF, NBC, Provident Fund, maternity leave forms UI19, Salary schedule BC3, UI2-3, UI2.7, UI2.8
- All disciplinary warnings and hearings
- Counselling - I do a lot of ‘counselling’ - staff having personal problems needing to speak to someone
- Deal with all Union related issues, Bargaining Council issues and Provident Fund issues
- Typing of various letters staff required
- National Bargaining Council Compliance certificate every six months
- Collecting daily clock ins
- ‘Fixing’ (staff clock out instead of in or forget completely etc..) and printing daily attendance schedule for Avril
- Return to work Interview with each staff member after they have been absent
- Weekly wages - collect weekly hours worked from daily clock in schedules update Wages excel spreadsheet, allocate days off to be paid or unpaid
- Monitoring of sick notes / paid and unpaid leave taken / compassionate leave
- Monitor loan deductions and balances owing
- National Bargaining Council - Recon monthly schedule of deductions and payment due
- Provident Fund - Input into excel spreadsheet of earnings for all staff for the month and send through to Old Mutual
- Garnishing orders - schedule for payment at month end
- Union deductions - schedule for payment at month end
- Monthly attendance spreadsheet for Avril - factory staff spreadsheet with record of all days late or absent for the previous month
- Ensure that relevant statutory submissions are met timeously.
- General office administration

**Qualifications**:

- 2 - 5 years related experience
- Experience with the Bargaining Council and previous work in a manufacturing industry will be beneficial
