The Learning Coordinator takes ownership of all training projects allocated to them. They will be responsible for overseeing a number of training projects running concurrently at different clients.
This highly capable and professional employee must be comfortable working in an online virtual learning environment with their camera on all the time, they will be responsible for learner engagement activities such as virtual onboarding, LMS training, assessment support, certification and or graduation coordination, LMS administration, assessor/facilitator relationship management and virtual learner interaction and support.
The Learning Coordinator will support, motivate and collaborate with learners during their learning journey from pre course enrolment to graduation to ensure learner success.

As a learning coordinator you will actively engage with learners in the virtual environment, both in-class and on a one on one basis to ensure a memorable learning journey. You will be required to communicating regularly with learners and keep them motivated to successfully complete the tasks in their learning programme.

You will work closely with the facilitators in the virtual environment on the delivery of the training programme to ensure learners complete and submit coursework for assessment. You will maintain learner progress records in the Learning Management System. You will create and present learner progress reports during project meetings.

Ultimately as a Learning Coordinator you will ensure that all stakeholders are informed and working in unison to make every learning experience memorable and value adding for those we partner with. This role is essential in ensuring that our training interventions are delivered timeously and with the highest level of quality and professionalism. The role has some physical demands and will require the Learning Coordinator to be present in a live online virtual session for long periods of time, ranging from 2 to 6 hours at a time supporting national and international training programmes. The role has non standard working hours, meaning you will be required to work some evenings.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Moodle and Learner Management Experience
- Online Virtual Classroom Platform experience
- Project Management Experience
- MS Office Proficient (Excel, Powerpoint advanced skills required)
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and high levels of EQ. Must have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Implement learning activities with individual students, small groups and the whole class on Virtual Classroom Platform via Learning Management System (LMS)
- Conduct learner administration on the LMS from pre course learner enrolment to creating learner certificates for graduation
- Collate learner data to provide training reports on attendance, course feedback and grades
- Provide support to the Facilitator
- Co facilitate learning activities
- Collaborate among internal and external learners
- Maintain the LMS user experience
- Support Internal and Client LMS Administrators
- Physical demands of this role, require sitting for long periods of time and observing live classes in the online virtual environment
- Present onboarding sessions with learners
