POSITION

Spares Administrator | Location: Johannesburg | Reporting to: Spares Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
- Syspro Knowledge would be an advantage
- Experience in similar role
- Background in Warehouse and Administration.
- Have an understanding of catering equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transferring stock between branches, technicians and the warehouse.
- Accepting deliveries of spare parts, checking them for quality and accuracy against purchase orders.
- Manage goods in transit.
- Assisting technicians and other staff by providing the necessary parts and ensuring timely delivery and that the correct documents are signed.
- Assisting the Spares Supervisor with admin duties and other related tasks.
- Assisting with the three-monthly stock take.
- Ensuring spares are ordered and received timeously from local and overseas suppliers.
- Ensuring the customers are given prompt and courteous service either over the phone or on the counter.
- Ensuring that GRV filing is kept up to date and paperwork is processed timeously.
- Report on stock-outs to ensure timeous ordering of spares within acceptable maximum and minimum stock levels.

Ensure that all spares’ prices are updated on a regular basis ad that all branches are kept informed on this.
