**Job description**

A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Move manager (In-house), part of our Global Relocation Management subdivision (RMC) in Cape Town

The main responsibility for this position part of relocation management services, is to provide on-going Move management support to the business’s international assignee population.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Managing the entire household goods removal process, assisting international clients with their moving needs, throughout the entire shipping, packing and delivery process with third parties and dealing with any enquiries
- Maintain strong relationships with assignees, acting as main point of contact and ensuring assignees satisfaction
- Ensuring moves are completed smoothly by regularly liaising with clients and third parties to coordinate all stages of the move; including freight forwarders, shipping partners, customs agents and packers.
- Checking official documents for accuracy (e.g., passports, acceptance forms, customs checks)
- Regularly provide updates to senior members of the team regarding moves in progress and removal service completed.
- Booking moves within budget to ensure maximum company profitability.

**Key Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the household goods removals industry sector working. Ideally within a Corporate Client or RMC. With at least a logistics and communication management training.
- Highly knowledgeable of global international moving practices and relocations procedures
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to liaise with and influence key stakeholders
- Analytical, numerate and a quick learner
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong relationship building skills
